Itinerary

Day 01: Delhi - Chandigarh
After arrival at Delhi our representative assists to transfer you to Chandigarh 250 km 6 hrs. On arrival at Chandigarh check in at hotel and later in the evening visit to the famous Rock Garden where you will see some exciting idols and sculptures. Later return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 02: Chandigarh-Dharamshala
Morning after breakfast, proceed to Dharamshala by surface (260kms/6 hours). Dharamshala is the perfect place for holidays as it is blessed astounding by the nature and panoramic view of the snow covered Himalayas. On arrival check in at pre-booked hotel for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Dharamshala.

Day 03: Dharamshala Sightseeing
Enjoy the early morning breakfast and visit to Mcleodganj, His Highness The Dalai Lama resides here. At the beginning of Mcleodganj is small bazaar where varieties of Tibetan Handicrafts and artifacts are kept and are displayed for sale. Namgyal Monastery which lies at the end of the spur is a beautiful Monastery with enternal walls surrounded by rows of prayer wheels. Within the monastery are the large idols of Buddha. St. John Church is also the attraction in Dharamshala as it is the final resting place of Lord Elgin the Viceroy of India during the 19th Century. Return back on time to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 04: Dharamshala-Chamunda Devi-Palampur-Baijnath-Dharamshala
After breakfast get ready for an excursion trip to Baijnath enroute visiting Chamunda Devi and Palampur. These two place are considered to be holiday destination as the temple build here are of great significance. The present Baijnath temple built by merchants name Ahuka and Manyuka showcase the finest example of Negara style of temples.

The Svayambhu form of Sivalinga is enshrined in the sanctum of the temple while the other Chamunda Devi a Shakti shrine situated 10 km west of Palamour is dedicated to form of Durga or Chamunda. The idol inside the temple is considered to be so secred that it is covered completely with red cloth. Here tourists and pilgrims take a holy dip in Ban Ganga and offer prayers for their ancestors. After visiting the ancient holy temple, return back to enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Dharamshala.

Day 05: Dharamshala-Delhi departure
Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Delhi (520 kms/13 hours) the capital city of India. With arrival at Delhi, the glorious tour of Dharamshala Chamundadevi Palampur Baijnath Tour ends.
