Kullu Manali Tourist Guide
Located on the bank of the Beas River in the Kullu Valley it is the capital town of Kullu District. Kullu Valley is the largest valley in the Kullu district. Malana : Little ahead of the beautiful Chanderkhani Pass lies the village Malana which is famous for the temple of Jamlu and its distinct, social and cultural life. Bajaura : It is just 15 km away from Kullu. It is famous for Basheshwar Mahadev Temple. The temple is believed to have been built in the mid 8th century. Larji : It 34 km away from south of Kullu Valley. It is an excellent spot for trout fishing. It is predominantly famous among anglers. Banjar : It is 58 km away from Kullu. It is an excellent spot for trout fishing in the waters of river Tirthan. How to get there By Train : The nearest railhead is at Jogindernagar (95 km). By Air : The nearest airport is at Bhuntar, which is 10 km south of Kullu. Bhuntar is well connected to Delhi by air, and there are daily flights between the two. By Road : Kullu is well connected Shimla, Delhi, Chandigarh, Mandii, Manali, Manikaran, Naggar, Bajura, and Dharamshala. |
